I think most manufacturers using AMOLED in their smartphones are having problems with battery efficiency. I know the Droid Incredible certainly has to be charged more often than what I was used to. The power efficiency of AMOLED is probably no more than a drop in the bucket compared to the power hogs the programs are. . .
PANL price has almost climbed back to the 38.50 high it set in March 2000 right before the crash. If it cuts through that like a knife through butter, I would expect the rise to continue. More likely it will test that barrier twice before breaking above it (third time's a charm). A lot of this gain is, IMO, simply a reflection of what the RUT2000 and the greater markets are experiencing in the way of Fed support through its POMO and money-printing activities. However, just as the market can stay irrational longer than a trader can stay solvent, so, too, there will come a point when the Fed must cease and desist from its errant ways, and then we will most likely see a violent correction in all markets.
Right now I am finding it is too early to short and too late to long most issues. Sometimes sitting on one's hands provides the greatest rewards. . .
