Age: From 16 Years to Years
Qualifying Disease Condition for Inclusion: Subjects must be: (1) at least 16 yrs of age; (2) infected with HIV-1 virus (with plasma RNA> 1000 copies/ml within 60 days of randomisation; (3) on a stable regimen of 3 or more ART drugs for at least 4wks prior to screening OR not on any ARTs for >= 4 wks prior to screening; (4) Subjects must have documented resistance to at least 2 of the following 3 drug classes: NRTI; NNRTI or PI OR ART class experience for at least 6 months (sequential or cumulative) with each of the following classes: NRTI; NNRTI or PI.
Major Exclusion Criteria: Subjects must not have: (1) detectable CXCR4-tropic or mixed CCR5/CXCR4-tropic HIV isolates at Screening; (2) any condition that may increase the risk of seizures and (3) no prior history of malignancy.
