How do you know a N1 43-101 is coming out?

Unless the source is from the company, it is just a rumour - just like the Katx RM with KatG is a rumour ... for now.

I have seen the mention of this -101 report a few times. I cannot find much data about it. Is it required to be filed ANNUALLY and if so, is the deadline in January? Is it possible to file for an "extension" on it or its just you file it or get fined?
