My guess would be that there are those that wanted it to close at .0003 to paint it red (more likely to move it down in the am).

And those that wanted it to close .0004 or Green...

Also has to do with daily chart technicals, candle sticks, etc.

Or MM's could have split up larger orders into partial fills, separated them out.
