They say it's bigger than France and Germany, so using Metropolitan (Continental) France 547030 km2, and Germany
356,733 km2, gives MF/G 903763 km2 .. taking Texas at 696200 km2, gives the flooded area at 1.3 of Texas.

Ooi, farther west to California at 423970km2 the flooded area would chew on about 2.1 her area.

LOL, i can't find a stated figure for the flooded area.
