They said "loaded up with costs" -- that meant cost of goods sold to me. I've been studying thousands of companies in the market from OTC all the way up to NYSE DOW stocks, and I've always heard cost claims to be cost of goods sold.

When Walmart says they buy six packs of coca-cola for $1.00 and sell them for $2.00, they aren't including overhead obviously.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if JBII can make fuel at some point in the future for less than $10 per barrel INCLUDING overhead when they have lots of processors running and are able to enjoy efficiencies of scale.

Heck, if you want to get technical, the JV partners may be cutting them a check which is 100% profit. But I won't bother going there.

Free feedstock isn't going to be an issue.

Average Landfill Tipping Fees in Niagara $90-$92/ton

In the Niagara Region, where JBI have their head offices, fees seem to be around $90/ton at three landfills and just over $92/ton at the fourth (the fourth didn't have commercial fees listed but the cost per ton was the same for residential and commercial for the other three so I made an assumption).

If I have a company in or close to the Niagara Region and I have tons of unwanted plastic, do I want to transport it and then pay $90-$92.50 per ton to send it to landfill, or do I want to transport it and give it to JBI for free?
