Bottom of what exactly? We are down a whole 150 or so odd points from the high, you make it seem like we have been in a bear market for the last year and are down 1000 points. In case you didnt know we have been in a TRADING RANGE that is finally breaking down....so dont give me any of your "Am I new to investing BS." Gimme a f'n break. I have worked on the CBOE for over 10 years as an options trader and have been investing for over 20. Keep living in your fantasy land that a new bull is starting.....Let me ask you, Are you new to investing? Because you sure do sound like a Newbie...lol.
