the teller might take it as a bribe! :-)

anyway, someone posted somewhere on another board that the best way to find hordes of silver coins is to go to pawn shops and just ask if they're holding any rolls of coins. most shop owners don't open the paper rolls, they just assume they are face value. hmmmmm

Some Bank Employees are Aware of the value of Silver, and they are sifting through these coins to find Silver for themselves. They will care less about that extra $5 you offer them! ;)

A couple of weeks ago I went to my local branch to buy $100 in half Dollars. The teller asked me what I wanted them for? I told her that I was looking for any pre-64 coins. She laughed at me and said that she scoops up all of the Silver for herself! She then pulled out a zip-lock bag which was full of pre 64 coins she got in just one week. She told me she has accumulated a lot of Silver by doing this. She was "Fully Aware" of the value of Silver, and I wasn't getting none of hers at this bank!

I'm thinking about getting a partime job at a different bank just to search for Silver myself! LOL What an Awesome Job to find pre-64 coins!
