Hi griz! There were never any extensions to the Oct 26 deadline. They just kept working with Guyer/Rice on the variances after that. No intentions on backing off of their recommendation to deny the permit approval.
What happened today was a technicality. Now, we're back to a new application without all of the variances IMHO. The Board as much as said "bring it back" and we'll approve it.
No, I don't think CGI presented in the best light today, however, having served on many boards and commissions, local and statewide, it wasn't CGI's testimony today that killed the permit.
It was simply that the Board couldn't approve a permit application that wasn't in conformance as of October 26th.
That said, I bought today and will buy more tomorrow at this level. A new application without all of the variances will fly through this Board.
