I was doing some work on that. The only information I have so far was 30,000 subscribers in 2003. Cost of the programming was 5.99 and 7.99 per month on each of their two carriers. What they have for subscribers now I don't know. From the articles I read, they were having a tough time signing up people despite free weekends of viewing. In their advertising they were appealing to the G/L community to support the company but with limited successs. The one positive I saw was very good one time VOD numbers for their "adult" programming. It appears many people were willing to fork over a few dollars for a one time adult program than for an entire month of general and less spicey programming.
It makes me wonder if Q will keep that aspect of the programming if they acquire the company. It appears to be a profitable venture but goes against what Frank said he wants Q to be. Possibly Frank will just sell off the adult programming or the rights to it. We will see.
