What did we have last night? The Iraqs gave inspections a thumbs down and want to by antidotes. What have we seen for a month now. Everytime any hint of terrorism, and the markets go up. And what else are we seeing today. The indicators aren't matching up very well with what the markets are doing. I was having that problem a lot in the run up.

We did though get local tops in the PREM and TICK at 1:00 which match with the HOD's on COMP and NDX. SPX and Dow didn't hit HOD's until 1:11. OEX got pushed back from 456 about then which is support/resistance. Hm, PREM also spiked down at 1:02 to the lowest it's been since about 10:00. Looks to be slowly starting to roll over from the up trend off that spike down. TICK still down trending off the 1:00 high.

INTC starting to turn down here. MSFT was getting pushed back up after failing at 55, but now dropping.

reasons for this rally?... there's plenty of em

Chambers stated this morning that one of the ways CSCO has been able to be more profitable is by getting better prices from their suppliers (read: squeezing the hell out of the semi suppliers). So, what happens? The SOX index is up over 5% on this news.

CEO of XLNX says a few days ago that one of the things his company was excited about was that they were making progress in getting more of their chip sales from the automobile industry. (high forward growth there!)

CSCO is going more with ASIC's and eliminating a lot of XLNX and ALTR chips from their product designs. That's good for a nice pop in these two stocks.

AMD & INTC cut chip prices, the SOX rallies.

Oracle CFO once again proclaims "this 'could' be the bottom"

JP Morgan believes that there is a "possibility" that DELL 'may' guide above

BEA Systems says near-term biz not improving yet, stock at 8.55 +0.73

Lehman has concluded that most communications tech stocks today are somewhere between fully-valued to richly-valued... ALA up 10% on that news.

Fed Vice Chair Ferguson: business investment "may be increasing."... uhhh, yeah that's why we just slashed another 50 basis points

Yep, the bottom is in.. full speed ahead!
