lance, there's an easy way to deal with this.

99% of the people that PM you, i'm sure, have good stuff to say.

this guy just happened to attack you. block him (under his message, click 'block xxx's messages'. it's over with.

no reason to 'turn off' something (i don't even have a way) that for the most part is quite useful.

You can block pm's from users...

Open a PM from someone you want to block.

At the bottom left of the message is a button labeled "block nnnnnnn's private messages" and you won't see them any more...
