Have to say I disagree with your post. Also, of course, I hope SIAF commences further fish farms as soon as possible.

How I see it:

1) I think four is just a target number; doesn't mean there is one current prospect now who would start four; doesn't meant there are four current prospects who would start one each.

2) Any prospect can -- and presumably would -- go to Australia to taste the fish and monitor the timing of maturity and sales

3) There is insatiable demand for the product, as long as the farms are well located. See no problem here. The current price is $27,000 / ton. 500 tons is nothing in this marketplace.

Therefore, buyer/partners may well wait, but they don't have to.

4) I am pretty sure that Mr. Lee's comment:

"... the key to success ... will be to consolidate our marketing and distribution network."

does not refer to one or two fisheries.

Rather he visualizes a marketing and distribution network as an umbrella business on top of the current wholesale operations, not just for one fishery, but for all, and for dairy, cattle, and vegetables, as well.

As fisheries approach equaling the sales of all other businesses, this new 100% owned umbrella business will add even more incremental profits. How much and when is guesswork at this time. Perhaps will get guidance about this some time in 2011.

At least, this is my interpretation.
