ot, Some could view it that way, time will tell. Interesting there would be a second full blown 3G WCDMA system in Japan in lite of the "obvious" conclusions you have drawn. Looks like the "obvious" thing to do would be to just opt for the so called CDMA2000 "3G" system... Funny how some times the marketplace is not in agreement with the "known" facts.

p.s. Are you long QCOM and for how long?
