I haven't started to trust Jeff because of his nonsense and bullying as moderator and his secretive behavior since seizing the reins. As far as I'm concerned, Jeff is deeply in bed with the insider group that runs this scheme and is smart like a fox. He is promoting his group's interests, which out of coincidence may benefit others. His interests include burying the bodies, taking care of friends, salvaging remaining opportunities, keeping others from prying into past acts. Where's Julian Assange when we need him to uncover these secrets?
