I was dreaming about numbers. I was back in Mr. Russell's 9th grade algebra class. Picture Ichabod Crane with chalk dust all over him; that was Mr. Russell. A brilliant fellow but only the sharpest in the class "got" what he was saying. I didn't get it, never got it. What I got was a lot of "D's" and "F's" on our Friday tests. The dream was very real; my friends were in the class, looking as they did back then. Come the Friday test, Mr. Russell would sit at his desk and lose himself in a book, likely a calculus book. He never looked up, so engrossed was he. My friends sat next to each other, [we had long, rectangular tables.] I sat at another table. My buddies would fly through the test. Then they'd switch tests, make sure they all had the right answers. I could've joined 'em but I was afraid of getting caught and bringing shame upon my family. Anyway, in the dream, I "got it! It was a "Eureka" moment; kinda like when Albert Epstein came up with hos "Theory of Regularity" after 10 years. I was so excited I woke up.
