I wonder if I could double my portfolio that way...naw, the brokerage won't let you divide by zero.

b-a=0
looks like a political proof

Hi Zeev: I knew that. I took calculus, algebra and 3rd grade arithmetic. In Calculus class I read all written by Morty Shakespeare. He invented the Boston GLOBE. First theatre in the round.

Actually Zeev, -1=1, as can be seen below:

-1=-1
(-1/1)=1/(-1)
(-1/1)^.5=(1/-1)^.5
(-1)^.5/1^.5=1^.5/(-1)^.5
i/1=1/i
i^2=1^2
-1=1

But divide by zero violates a law, Yes?

"Assume a=b"
---
then substract b from each side,
a-b=b-b=0
or, -(-a+b)=0
or, -(b-a)=0
then multiple each side by -1
-1(-(b-a))=-1(0)
(b-a)=?
---
"Divide both sides by the common factor (b-a)"
---
Maby I should Google "negative zero"

1 does not equal 2

If a=b, and then you divide by (a-b), then you've divided by zero.

Perhaps that give you the result you need?
