just rambling,

the real worry is deflation. Money has no use now:
what can it buy: a factory that can not make any more goods, a house that costs too much, a bond that pays 4%?

but gold is such a meaningless symbol. how about an industrial metal that needs to be used independent of the economy. thorium? niobium? (please do not think I have any knowledge whatsoever about these elements other than their place on the periodic table) anything other than depleted uranium needed for defense stocks and commodity production?

Silver has been mentioned, but I always thought there was a huge supply and it is mostly industrial and with silver going out of the film business..........

the real success will be to bring the 2.2 billion people middle east and south west asia and russia on line as consumers to use this factory capacity

we should cut taxes on the lower and middle classes with families who would immediately spend it and pump up demand

Why I say. You must be one of those foolish left coast liberals who are weak on national defense by not targeting the largesse , em I meant return of taxes paid, to those could afford to use it properly get us out of the heap of do do we are in.

Please it is in jest, I don't need any more flaming today after openly stated I was going short at the start of GOP party time and rationalizing it on the potential evils of one party parochial rule.
