I wasn't even thinking about his question that way when he asked it. For some reason I took it as he was asking if let's say a son bought some PAC shares and then gifted them to his mother for her birthday. Was taking his question in a totally different context.

It does sound first hand knowledge, although I never heard anything about gifting shares to anyone for services preformed.
