well i rarely disagree with your pov
but imo (based on reading various posts)
i question that the knowledge will be there
to understand what is SOP at this level of
the <a> co.s transition

that knowledge will not be the same for any
two individuals and that is never so obvious
as from reading posts on this smb ~ i don't
see that changing

accessing cash via equity to grow a co. is not only normal
it's basic at this level .. compensating employees
in a start up (with stock) is also basic at this level
stock promotion (and i use that word lightly) is done
by every ceo of every co. *at every level* not just
the start up phase :)
