EW, Please refresh my memory or at least fill in the gaps if you don't mind.
What specifically did Brad say or write that he knew was false at the time he spoke it or wrote it? This is important because if one is willing to lie once, he will likely have no problem in lying again and again. I have seen a lot of references to lies and I have looked for one but I haven't found it yet.
If you can cite the specifics it would greatly help others, like me, who are unaware. If, on the other hand, you are speculating about the possibility of the lying, you may wish to state as such.
I doubt that safe harbor statements would even protect company officials who have intentionally put out false information. If I have read the law correctly, intentionally putting out false information is prohibited. So the lies would just be compounded from then on.
Don't get me wrong, I have seen plenty in the past 6 years which can seemingly be described as at best poor judgment. If there have been out and out lies, I'd like to know about them.
Again, please be specific. I'm neither pro-Brad or anti-Brad. I am pro-truth, however.
Thanks,
