Forgive me EW but that doesn't make sense to me. What if Jack Peckham was brought on board in part to help secure or finalize the funding (I am speaking hypothetically, before anyone has a stroke). That may take some time, certainly more than a few days. Your scenario assumes the funding was already in place when the appointment was made. NV of all companies should know by now not to leak anything about funding until all the T's are crossed and it's signed, sealed and delivered.
