As you know and everyone knows our Israel policy is America's shame.
.........our tacit compliance with the ethnic cleansing & while seemingly, Obama has ceased any attempt (except by giving weapons to the most armed country in the ME) .. to be an honest, neutral power broker is every bit as shameful as 'bush's' out right approval of the killing in both countries ..
Now the word is that due to this 3 billion weapon deal that what Obama is seeking is a three month agreement that Israel will stop building the settlements .. as your post points out ... . Obama is hoping (jeeeeze) that IF there is a three month's hold .. that the sides will agree to the permanent borders .. now please tell me , When has Israel EVER respected ANY borders .. ?
I guess you must keep our foreign office busy at something .. so it might as well be this impossible dream and YES I will go along with this .. Looking like, Acting like .. you are working on a viable agreement is much Better .. then ignoring it .. as we had for eight long years ..
