I think you might be reaching on this one. I'm not sure how relevant Blockbuster is these days. The ones that I see that are in business ususally look deserted.
I think the fact that a previous poster stated that they rented it on Netflix and others have purchased the movie on Amazon and at Best Buy are more telling of the situation.
I'll name one thing that management has done. They released Racing Dreams nationally with a nation wide in store promotion at Best Buy. As far as renting the movie from Blockbuster it is listed at Blockbuster.com as 4.5 stars out of 5 and you can rent it by clicking get it now. As mentioned by other posters..walking into a store to rent movies is or is quickly becoming the way of the past in this digital/wireless age.
REDUCING THE SS FROM 10 BIL SHARES TO 700 MIL. It's a pretty big one to me and a sure sign that this IS NO SCAM. It's almost comical to think that someone would accuse a company of fraud when it is taking such actions.
