FinallyThere, thanks for your comments on IDCC. I would agree completely with your assessment going forward. Curious on your feelings relative to the very recent win of Harris vs Eric. As I have read it Harris was after something like $16 or $17M for patent infringement(s) and the Texas jury awarded them $61M. While certainly not exactly the same, IDCC is after Ericson (for patent infringements going back several years) for something like 10x to 20x (or more?). Eric has accrued charges of something in excess of $1B on their balance sheet. Should there be a settlement in light of the Harris award or should the case go to court (I think the court date is Feb 10th of next year)and IDCC wins (either case) -- how significant a pop in stock price do you feel IDCC might incur? And, how significant a player in the emerging world of 3G might they become? Any chance they could become another 'QCOM' in the telecom sector? I suppose if they lose out, their stock will quickly fade. I'd be curious as to your thoughts in these matters. TIA. Either way, good luck going forward with IDCC!
