I agree with you Marc in regard to your comment in regards to religion and integrity. The 9-11 hijackers, Osama Bin Laden and GW Bush were and are all very religious people who have very different views on the subject. Religious beliefs in itself is hardly a ringing endorsement of what makes a good leader or a person of integrity. I also hardly think that a religious person of any kind would have any aversion to shorting a stock that he believes deserves to be shorted. I do not see how someone who has been running a hedge fund since 2001 that specializes in technology companies could have avoided shorting a stock such as Nortel during that time. Having said that the fact that he is no longer doing it may well be a good sign.
