That's how I meant it to sound. He gave no indications that was the case in any of his interviews with the investigators unless I missed something. And I wouldn't blame him if he was distancing himself. Based on the current legal issues, I think anybody that was deeply involved in PAC is wise to distance themselves from PAC now especially if their livelihood relies heavily on the trust of other individuals. I had never heard anybody mention he only had a 2 year commitment before. When did he state that he had only committed for 2 years? Just in the past couple months? Or was that something he was saying all along from the very beginning? I'd be surprised if he has said he only had a 2 year commitment with PAC all along and it wasn't just a convenient excuse he invented recently to end his relationship with the company.
