Looking back now to the beginning of the year its not hard to see how much damage the shorts have done to the US economy, to business confidence and to the general wellbeing.
I don't follow you on this.
I've always been reluctant to buy a stock where the short interest is low or no-existent. Since I'm in stock market, 2 decades plus, high short interest has always been considered bullish for a stock.
