that is what wyeths estrogen is made from. they have a large number of horses who pee out a lot of pretty pure estrogens and they collect it and purify the hell out of it. Its just like any other biological source and they have been making it this way for 30 years. taxol is made from trees, growth hormone used to get purified from dead peoples pitutitaries before DNA etc etc. It is the worlds biggest drug with more prescriptions for it than anything else worldwide. gynecologic hormones were a 5 billion dollar market in 1992 ( not all of it wyeth). do not know what it is now.
