Not an expert on that but think it is sometimes high to avoid hostile takeover bids. I may be wrong tho!

Biggest item is are they producing gold? (soon - very soon in mining time frame)

I think once production starts and this gold trend isn't going to cool down for a while with economic situations globally taken into consideration that this stock is a good one to own......

If you want to use a point of reference look at ABX (Barrick Gold) albeit the largest out there has a billion shares on the market and is at 51 a share..... their most successful mine site is considered mature.

As far as your price points I would research and keep abreast of the situation to make your own decision....
This is the stock market and I have lost track of the times I have sold short of high.... lol
