Therat: I really don't know how. Yes, your right about the shorting, but seems it would still be listed as a sell, not a buy.
Somehow, their shares go in a tempoary basket, if you will, then
they short down, or let it up, to match buyers and sellers in their basket, and pocket, or skim off the difference. IMO, I
don't know anything, it's probably much more complicated than that, so I'm going to grab some tea and sit on the porch with my
beautiful wife, and pet my dogs, or vice-versa.LOL Good Luck.
