My first choice would have been to let many area's of the economy crash and burn and then we'd start over. I would have loved it if the Fed funded the regionals and let wall street burn.

That wasn't a choice. What the Fed is doing is spending money that isn't accounted for. It's not part of the Government budget nor does it have a budget. Very simply it is devaluing our currency, so that will cost us more money (look at gasoline prices) while at the same time it isn't held to debate or decision.

While our stock markets have climbed nicely, keep in mind our currency, the currency we are valuing our markets in have declined 14% since June.
