Correct again Uz... purchasing a plane comes with a ton of paperwork, regulations and certifications!
Unless the bank had at least 25 new planes, I'm not so sure this is an area worth pursuing. Like I said, the depreciation eats up the value and I can't see the bank owning THAT many jets. Also, there is a "slight" cost to maintaining these birds.
How many hours were on the engines and airframe?
If someone wants to provide me with a couple of serials, I will make a phone call and see what information is behind them.
