What time frame on the chart do you use? I like 1min for timing entries and switching over to 5mins to determine length of stay. I like to use bollies for setting stops. If I'm long I will set the stop right below bottom bollie. I also use L2s' to determine support and will set stop right below support(setting a stop at support is risky for many times before the actual run it will dip back to support taking you out). As it breaks above mid bollie I will reset my stop right below mid bollie, etc.
I like using ADX to determine the strength of the run. MACD and Psar are the 2 other indicators I use.
I look for MACD to cross and psar to trip below candle for a long entry. Opposite for short entry. I also use L2 to determine support and resistance points.
