You are correct, except that the criminal is Dean, not qasp. Granted, Dean was hiding behind the corporate shield, but that can be penetrated. You can't put the corporation in jail.

Now, as far as qasp being dead:

It has received numerous wounds and bruises. It's in triage now. It is yet to be determined if any of those wounds is mortal. Some of them well could be. Whether or not they are will depend on how they are treated and what treatment is available. I believe the current thought is that most of the damage has been done to shareholders, and that the other liabilities can be corrected with a few million dollars and Dean getting his due. That being said, there is the possibility that in the end the cure is to start over with a clean shell, or just abandon the dream entirely...

Not if that car was a rental. Thief goes to jail and car is returned to leasing company.

The real issue here is the car was returned totaled and no one knows yet if it can be restored.
