I've been listening to this BS for awhile now and it's been misleading a lot of people into thinking that shares were not dumped because the volume based on the rally to .71 does not match the volume based on the drop to .05. Just cause there were 91 million shares traded on the run but only 35 million shares traded on the way down does not mean 91 million shares were accumulated. It just means there was a lot of interest in the stock therefore there was a lot more LIQUIDITY.

you do realize that 91 million isn't people buying at .10 and holding them to .70 don't you? it means 91 million shares were traded...like, the same share could have been passed around 3x as many times on the way up as on the way down

let's follow 1 share of stock ok

Person A buys 1 share of CDIV @ .10

Person A sells it to Person B @ .30

Person B sells it to person C @ .70

so far we have 3 trades (that one piece of stock is showing as 3 trades in the volume on the way up)

stock starts to drop

Person C sells to person D @ .40

we now have 1 trade on the way down, showing as volume = 1

Person D continues to hold as the stocks trades sideways, continues to drop, goes up, whatever

So here, that one share war traded 3 times on the way up, and only once on the way down. It would show as 3x the volume on the run. It doesn't mean anything more than that.
