I can't recall where I read it...probably in one of T4G4's posts on the Google Groups board. It's his post that I copied & posted here. It also may have appeared in one of Barbara's email responses. I just don't recall. If you can't post a message to T4G4, let me know & I'll pose-post the question to him.
When I first read the news of MCET's application over the summer I researched hard and I found the attached IRS website which I believe is the program they applied to ( Qualifying Therapeutic Discovery Project Tax Credit or Grant Program ). The good news is that this tax credit can be taken as a $5 MILLION GRANT IN LIEU OF THE TAX CREDIT. See the fifth Question and Answer on the attached website. If I recall didn't they apply for 4 of these grants???
I'm not an accountant and haven't read all the details but would greatly appreciate anyone's thoughts and input.
