Eve - when investing there aren't any guaranties, you know that. Deirdre will have to prove herself, pure and simple.
Do you see things being done differently under her? I do, but then I have talked to her on a few occasions, so I have "some things" to base my opinion on.
First off IMHO she was instrumental in getting that CC scheduled and held. She heard the collective voices of discontent and acted accordingly.
Secondly, IMHO she plays by the rules very well. In the past people would call BioShield wanting to know when the next PR would be issued so they could flip the stock on a penny. Deirdre will not play those games. Did you see any movement today or yesterday ahead of the PR release?
Thirdly, she is keeping her word. She said a copy of the CC would be on the web site and it was. Minor issue, maybe, but IMHO significant measuring stick.
Fourth, she had a big mess to clean up in the wake of her predecessor. I didn't realize how big it was until I asked some questions. Big mess.
5th - I like her no nonsense approach. When we complained that TM wasn't returning calls or answering the phone. She took charge and had those calls routed to her. She not only listened to us but almost in the same breath effectuated the necessary changes.
6th - the Annual Report. This is NoMo's area more so than mine, but he has stated a few observations, one of which is the complete write off of the bad debt. She is setting herself up to have "prettier" looking books down the road.
7th - merit not fluff. Her press releases do not contain fluff. I feel she will tell it like it is, so her success will be based on merit.
