Have you read about the Gulf War vets who are murdering their wives? There is a strong possibility that they were exposed to something that has affected them psychologically.

And you didn't mention the vets that smoked dope in the war zone..

It seems that Gulf war vets in contrast to previous generations of war vets are having at least similar levels of problems adjusting to society afterwards and are not being serviced by the VA.

If you read my second post regard VA, the past two administrations have short changed veterns in this post balanced budget era by allocating money for VA but just sitting on appropriations and delaying, denying and not implimentaing medical services for eligible veterans.

Most WWII and Korean vets in the VA system have obtained 100% service connected benefits by now mostly treating recently appearing chronic aging diseases like dementia, Parkinsons, etc not from anything relating to active service years ago.

Somehow Viet and Gulf war vets medical needs are not given similar status.
