Math is not weird. Math is exact. 1:5,5000 at $0.0001/share gives you $0.55/share. So, the choice of 5,500 might be weird. It seems excessive to me. Perhaps they'll ultimately go with a different ratio. Perhaps there's a high degree of confidence that we'll bounce off $0.0001 before the split. At the stated ratio, it only takes one tick up to put us over a dollar post split.
Who knows? We can only hope that GBOE is the one exception to the reverse split rule in pinkie land. I'm a little disappointed in the lack of response/movement after the Magna closing. I can only presume that there's still some hesitation until the financing is secured. All we can do is watch and wait -- and keep buying if you think it's the real deal.
