Voodoo... RosenShiat knew because after reading the posts since today's hearing ended, I believe THJMW did not have any other choice. I am not jumping on any bandwagon here. I really believe there is a method to her madness and simply refuse to believe that Nelson would not be jumping up and down with his hair on fire unless there was no reason to get excited.

I have learned to watch and listen at key moments... Nelson being unfazed was a key moment. I have seen this before in court as I think others like Jest, Lebosco, Catz, Ilene and others will agree. When Nelson has something to say, he says it. Rosen gets paid by the word... so he and his bagmen / bagwomen spew as long as they can. I would do the same. But Nelson knows he only has to say enough for THJMW to make her decision. In this case, it is much more about "what" you say then how many run-on sentances you compile for future billings.

GO NELSON!!!!!!!!

Rosen has poker face. Especialy after everyone keyed on their emotions after the meeting in judge's chambers.

But what I want to know is; what the hell is a Data Point? Isn't anything with data a data point? Or is this some double speak lawyerese?

Voodoo;

Think of the judge as you would the referee in a football game. The ref. may be standing there watching the line and the ref. knows the guard is going to go prior to the ball being hiked; but the ref can’t call off sides until the guard moves over the line. Once this is moved to the actual hearing then the ref. will call a foul, flags will be thrown and the game will come to a screeching halt. There will be penalties and with any luck at all Rosen will be sitting on the sidelines.

Voodoo.Attorney bravado. Ever seen a Shakespear play?
The bad guy always "act" confident, until the last scene.
