I believe Botox actually blocks the release of acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction… It does not effect "nerve connections".

I’ll give Bloomberg a pass on its description of Botox’s MoA for a lay audience. The error in the Bloomberg piece I’m referring to is something non-technical and not even close to being correct. Hint: it’s a timing matter.
