When one takes into consideration that our modern calendar has been adjusted (several times) resulting in a difference of ten days since "Beware the Ides of March" was first whispered in Julius Caesar's ear (and we all know how THAT turned out), what was then the Ides (fifteenth of March) now occurs on the twenty-fifth of March. Having been born on the modern equivalent of Caesar's Ides of March, and considering that a very good thing, I discount this superstition completely, despite my Irish heritage. Not being Caesar helps.
