According to this reference, 'nitch' is the preferred pronounciation, 'neesh' is the less common one.

Only among hick 'merkins ignorant of the proper pronounciation
of French derived words would "nitch" be more common. BTW
do you serve "champ-pag-knee" in your restaurant? :-P
