2003 $500m sales
2004 ~$1700m sales

IPF sales are growing by leaps and bounds but IBM's own IPF
efforts have been low key as could be expected with so many
important internal vested interests to protect.


Which is another way of saying that you have lost all credibility.

Stay in denial all you want. The Montecito comes later out
this year and IBM would seriously undermine POWERx by
offering an IBM badged Montecito system. A lot more rice
bowls in IBM depend on selling POWERx systems than IPF
systems.

I think IBM feels that their new cell processor will be in their systems before itanium becomes a factor...
