I agree with much of that.....I'm not a permitting expert either, but curious how one even files an application if the title sought is not known in advance (??).... which form would be used???....JBII decides this??...I would have thought the NYSDEC would have known with certainty what kind of application was being sought, since they were "working so closely"......

I guess the point is many people expected the permit process to be much further along by now (even I am surprised at the rate it is going).....I certainly don't blame a "bureaucracy" for not processing info they haven't received yet.....

BTW, I agree, based on the PR, it appears this is a minor project.....I was just kind of suprised to see it mentioned at all, The public comment period is only 30 days though.....guess I raise my eyebrow when I see a Gov agency using such a disclaimer, but maybe that is just me.....

simply put, the data is taken, the application is not yet completed, until it is filed, DEC can only give generalized answers and those always reflect the question.

Until it is formally applied for, we do not know and 2,000 posts that I "missed" is a lot like how the Sienfeld show booked itself - a board about nothing.
