The statement about Eternal Image making a lot of progress in the time that they have been in business was aimed more at the people who actually understand what it takes to get a startup business from point A to where Eternal Image is right now. It was meant for people that understand that Major League Baseball and the Vatican don't just hear that you have a new business and come begging to have you sign license agreements with them. The statement about progress was aimed at the people that understand that coming from a startup position breaking into one of the most change resistant industries in the world and signing many of the top performers in that industry to manufacture and market EI products. The statement was aimed at those that can understand just how big of a deal it was to sign the LOU with Matthews International. The statement was aimed at those smart enough to recognize the potential of the new division that EI started to diversify their product line and create new revenue streams.
Apparently my statement wasn't aimed at those that have no idea of how the funeral industry or business in general works and I am sorry that they didn't understand what was in print. In every group dynamic there are always going to be a couple of groups, the ones that GET IT and the ones THAT JUST DON'T GET IT. I am sorry that I choose to communicate with the group that GETS IT. Just a lot more fun to speak with those that have their eyes open and are expecting better things.
