True, but I find the MD-80 clones more interesting.
How does McDonnell Douglas allow this to happen?
MacDac doesn't exist any longer. Bought by Boeing in the 90's sometime. And I believe the last MD-80 was built in the 90's as well (by, ironically, TWA).
In any case I think that story makes sense as a story about Embaer - but is a little odd wrt MD-80.
