Remote Dynamics (formerly Minorplanet Systems USA) supplied the "where" in "wherewithal." By joining wireless communications with satellite tracking (GPS), the company provided vehicle management services to customers needing to keep tabs on their vehicle fleets. Its REDIview product offered vehicle positioning reports and route-mapping information, as well as reporting that allowed customers to pinpoint fleet inefficiencies. Telogis acquired the company's assets in July 2010.
