Actually, you are right! In hedging I sold (to open)IWM Oct 65 puts and Oct 68 calls. I am long Nov calls + puts... What I do is trading IWM options (which are very liquid) and monitoring RUT on TNA (which moves well and fast, reflecting the mood of the market).
